PUMPTOWN CREDITORS PROPOSAL APPROVED

Following the announcements of 15 and 25 June 2009, Pan Pacific Aggregates plc’s wholly owned subsidiary, Pumptown Quarry Inc. yesterday held a meeting of its unrelated unsecured creditors (the “Creditors”). At this meeting, the proposal to pay Creditors 9.554 per cent. of proven claims was passed.
