We are fully committed to carrying out our business activities in a safe and efficient manner and to prevent or minimise the possibility of its operations causing harm to people, both employees and visitors to the premises.
We will:
→ Provide a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and contractors by implementing and maintain systems that prevent risk in our activities.
→ Comply with company policies and procedures and all health and safety legislation, regulation and codes of practice that are relevant to the business activity.
→ Maintain open and effective communication channels with our employees, contractors, customers, the community and those who work with us
→ Ensure through appropriate coaching and training that all employees competently undertake their duties without causing injury or ill health to themselves or others or damage to property, plant and equipment.
→ Plan, review and assess our health and safety performance against measurable targets and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement
→ Ensure in advance the health and safety risk implications of any new plant, processes, procedures, substances and equipment in order to implement safe systems at work.
→ Not allow any employee or contractor from undertaking a task unless it can be completed safely.
Accidents and incidents are preventable and all personnel must work together towards this aim. Where accidents and incidents do occur we will maintain procedures to deal quickly and effectively with such occurrences.
